Don’t be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
March was such a stressful time for me that I just needed time to myself. I didn’t really leave the house, I spent time with Tyler, cleaning my place, and losing myself in Final Fantasy XIV which isn’t an entirely bad thing. I just hadn’t felt creative or the urge to really share anything and that’s okay. Sometimes, you just need time for yourself with no expectations and time to come to terms with changes in your life. I’ve gone through a roller coaster of emotions regarding work, relationships, and long-term goals.
Before I get to this month’s goals, here’s how my March Goals went:
Learn how to shoot in manual
Learn a few hand lettering techniques
Practice more illustration
To be honest, I’ve neglected my camera as well as finding time to practice hand lettering and doodling. It was pretty cold out for March and it has been difficult for me to get out of bed some days. I have some lessons from Skillshare queued up that I will need to find time for. I haven’t been the best with time management since my escape has been FFXIV.
My Top Three Goals for April
I recently got a mini makeover last month and I’m still trying to learn how to style my newly short hair and how to make my awesome new color last. I’ve learned that having pastel colored hair is rather high maintenance but it’s still fun.
Drink more water
I drink water but not nearly enough as I should. My skin has been so dehydrated from the cold weather as well as symptoms from hypothyroidism. I probably drink more coffee than I do water which really isn’t healthy.
Continue to experiment with food
I’ve been on a Korean cuisine kick and I have been selfish and haven’t been sharing any with you guys but I will definitely get around to it.
