7 Simple Tips For A Great Morning

7 Simple Tips For A Great Morning
Good morning early birds and non-morning folks, this is for you! Here are a few tips I’d like to share about

TIP ONE | PREP IN ADVANCE

You can’t start the day off properly if you’re feeling rushed and stressed out already right after you’ve woken up. Lighten the load for your morning self by laying out your outfit the night before. It will save you so much time and stress. Try to prep your meals like breakfast and lunch so you can stay on track for your health and fitness goal and so you’re not starving. Review and create a schedule for yourself because your time is valuable and you should be able to prioritize and allow time for things that really matter.

TIP TWO | CREATE A DEAD ZONE

Leave your phone, tablet, and laptop on your bedside and out of your hands. One of the best ways to wake up feeling refreshed is a good night’s rest. Leave those distractions out of the bed. Besides, how many times have you already dropped your phone on your face? Don’t lie. I know, it’s embarrassing but we’ve all been there.

TIP THREE | MAKE YOUR BED

I know, you think you don’t have time for that but then when do you have time for anything if you can’t make time for the little things? Some of the little things, they matter–like making your bed. Having a clean and tidy room will put you in a better mood not only after you wake up but also after you come home to a nicely made bed.

TIP FOUR | DRINK A GLASS OF WATER

You’ve been sleeping for 8 hours–okay realistically, maybe 4 or 5 hours–either way, your body needs to be hydrated. I try and drink water before and after bed. Having to get out of bed to relieve yourself will help a lot with the snooze button cycle you may fight through every morning.

TIP FIVE | REVIEW YOUR DAILY SCHEDULE

It’s always good to know what the day will hold for you so you’re not surprised about a meeting you didn’t know you had, a bill you have to pay, or even a date you have to get ready for.

TIP SIX | CATCH UP ON CURRENT EVENTS

Sometimes the news is depressing, I know. It’s hard to want to let any negativity into your life but this is what is going on in the world around you. It will help you get a better sense of how things will affect your life personally as well as serve as a communication medium to share with others.

 TIP SEVEN | BREATHE

Now that you’ve accomplished getting yourself out of bed and fed, take a moment to just breathe. A little meditation and/or prayer can go a long way. Give thanks for this day.

Take a look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I can do this!” Add in a little fist pump while you’re at it. Now go out and conquer the day!
